How It Works

From registration to payday — everything is managed through the Palmetto Pickleball app.

Register

Choose your league, register through the app, and pay your entry fee securely via Stripe. You'll get a PIN to log in and manage your account.

Schedule

For Flex League, use the in-app availability grid to find common times with opponents and schedule matches whenever it works for both teams.

Compete

Play your matches and submit scores in the app — standings update in real time. For the Mixer, show up Saturday and we handle the rest.

04
Get Paid

Top finishers win cash. Flex League pays out at the end-of-season tournament. Up and Down the River pays out at the end of each event.

Common Questions

Flex League FAQ

Everything you need to know before you register.

Do we have to play at Dill Dinkers?
No — you and your opponent can agree on any court that works for both of you. Dill Dinkers is our official sponsor and offers free courts for league matches as a bonus (up to 2 hours per booking, with 5 days' advance notice), but you're never required to play there.
How does scheduling work?
Post your open availability in the app, then message your opponent right in the app to agree on a time. Once you've settled on a date, tap "Schedule," enter the date, time, and location, and both teams get notified. The match then shows up on the shared schedule so everyone in the division can see it.
Can we cancel or reschedule a match?
Yes. Either team can tap "Edit Details" to change the date, time, or location, or tap "Cancel" if plans fall through — it'll go back to unscheduled so you can pick a new time later. Both teams get notified either way.
What is DUPR reporting?
DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) is pickleball's official rating system. Starting this season, every Flex League match result is reported to DUPR, so your games count toward your official rating automatically.
What's the Complete First Bonus?
The first team to schedule and complete every one of their regular-season matches wins a cash bonus on top of the tournament prize. The bonus amount grows with every team that registers.
How do payouts work?
There are two prizes, and both grow as more teams register: the Tournament Champion prize goes to the winner of the end-of-season tournament, and the Complete First Bonus goes to the first team to finish all their matches. Check the app's Payouts tab for the current amounts based on how many teams have signed up.
Which division should I choose?
Upper Advanced is for players rated 4.2+ DUPR, and Advanced is for players rated 3.5–4.1. If you're not sure where you land, pick the division that matches your most recent DUPR rating, or ask us and we can help you figure out the right fit.
How many teams make the playoffs?
The top 6 teams in each division's standings advance to the end-of-season tournament. The higher you finish in the regular season, the better your seed — and the top 2 seeds get a bye in the first round.
What happens at playoffs?
After the 12-week regular season wraps up, the top 6 teams in the standings advance to the end-of-season tournament — Seeds 1 and 2 get a first-round bye. Playoff matches are best of 3 (regular season matches are best of 5), games to 11, win by 2. Check the app for your division's current standings throughout the season.
